Srinagar, Dec 01: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out raids at around 10 locations across the Kashmir Valley in connection with the recent blast in Delhi, officials said.
Sources told News Agency that the anti-terror agency searched several residential locations, including the houses of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay, Dr. Adeel, Dr. Muzamil, and Amir Rashid, as part of the ongoing investigation.
The raids were conducted in Nadigam village of Shopian, and in Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora, and Samboora areas of Pulwama district, sources added.
“The NIA teams are looking for digital devices, documents, and other material that could help trace the suspected ‘white-collar’ module linked to the Delhi blast,” they said.The agency has so far arrested six individuals in connection with the case.On November 10, a high-intensity explosion ripped through a car near the historic Red Fort area in Delhi, killing at least 15 people and injuring several others. The blast triggered a nationwide probe, with agencies suspecting a broader network behind the attack.Further details are awaited.
