Srinagar, Dec 26 The Jammu and Kashmir Police have vehemently trashed reports of an IED blast at Khudwani Qaimoh in Kulgam.
A police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a fake news is being circulated by rumour mongers on social-media platforms that terrorists have carried out an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Khudwani Qaimoh in Kulgam, which is concocted and baseless.
“No such incident has taken place anywhere in the district”, the police official said adding we urge the public not to pay heed to romours.
The official further said that the romour mongers’ will be strictly dealt with as per law. (KS)
