Srinagar, Dec 04 The mercury has dipped further across Kashmir Valley, with Srinagar, the region’s summer capital, witnessing its coldest night of the season at a chilly -2.0°C.As reported by KNA Pahalgam, a renowned tourist hotspot, recorded an even lower temperature of -4.8°C.Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department stated that Qazigund, the gateway town to Kashmir, registered a minimum temperature of -2.2°C, while Kupwara, located in the northern part of the Valley, recorded a low of -1.2°C.The popular ski destination of Gulmarg also experienced a frosty night, with temperatures dropping to -3.5°C.Notably, the weather office has forecast dry conditions to prevail in the region until December 7. –(KNA)
